Soak, Drip Or Spray:
Which Is Right For You?
Choose the best of our easy, customizable, irrigation systems to help your plants thrive and save water
- You install them once and leave them in place all season long.
- Turn on the spigot to water plants; no hoses or sprinklers to move around.
- They install in minutes — all you need is a pair of scissors to cut the hoses to the lengths you need.
- Customizable systems save water by watering plants, not paths.
- If you add a timer, your garden will water itself!
Here’s how to choose the best system for each of your gardens.
Snip-n-Drip Soaker System:
Slow, Deep, Root-Zone Watering
Our flagship Snip-n-Drip Soaker Hose System uses a soaker hose to provide the slow, deep watering that plants love. By applying water at the root zone, it keeps foliage dry, helping to prevent disease problems. And it conserves water, too. Soaker hoses use up to 80 percent less water than overhead watering! By alternating sections of soaker hose and garden hose, you can set up a watering system in minutes that applies water where you need it — and not where you don’t. Place the soaker hose next to plants, and use the garden hose to cross paths and other areas where you don’t need water.
Snip-n-Drip is perfect for watering foundation plantings and multiple garden beds. We have special Snip-n-Drip systems specifically designed for trees and shrubs, vegetable garden rows, raised bed gardens and planters.
Micro Snip-n-Drip Irrigation:
Our Micro Snip-n-Drip Irrigation Kit provides precise root-zone watering to six plants. Drip irrigation applies water to individual plants, so there’s no wasted water — it uses up to 90 percent less water than sprinklers! Unlike complicated drip systems, ours sets up in minutes. Plus, it has adjustable nozzles so you can set them to apply just the right amount of water to each plant.
Micro Snip-n-Drip is perfect for watering tomato, pepper and squash plants. Use it or anywhere you want to provide slow, deep watering to individual plants. And it’s ideal for areas with hard water — you can easily remove the nozzles to clean them. This low-pressure system can also be used with a rain barrel.
Snip-n-Spray Garden Landscape Sprinkler System:
Provides Uniform Coverage
To water larger areas, like ground covers and perennial plantings, use our Snip-n-Spray Garden Landscape Sprinkler System. Simply place the sprinklers where you need them, and then use scissors to cut the hose to fit between them. The sprinklers adjust to spray in a 5 to 360-degree pattern, so you can set them to water your plants — not the sidewalk or driveway. Each sprinkler has a flow-control valve so you can fine-tune the output for uniform water coverage. The system includes three sprinklers and waters up to 400 square feet.
Micro Snip-n-Spray Sprinkler System:
Waters a 4′ x 8′ Bed
Finally, there’s our Micro Sprinkler Kit. This low-profile, low-volume system applies a fine spray that gently waters a 4′ x 8′ bed. Use it in the garden or in a raised bed. It’s perfect for watering seedlings, new plantings and ground covers. There are flow control valves on each sprinkler so you can fine-tune the coverage area. The kit includes four 90-degree micro sprinklers and two 180-degree micro sprinklers.
